Where should I go?
Not too expensive and a place that can do a "soft mohawk" (a.k.a. mullethawk), preferably.

I cut my hair at Tom's Barber shop in Ala Moana shopping center, street level near the food court. I think it's like $13.00 or so. #949-6081

Tom's is great. That's the only place I go now since my last barber closed up shop. Just make sure you don't get the old lady in the far right corner. She takes FOREVER to cut your hair. Plus, she small kine blind so don't expect it to come out all that great. I was unfortunate to have her once and I went back a couple days later to get it fixed. One of the guys asked me, "Weren't you just here the other day?". I told him what happened and he coulndn't stop apologizing while laughing at the same time.They were nice enough not to charge me again though.

Tom's at Ala's, huh. Any particular barbers there that you guys prefer, or are just any of the guys fine? Thanks! 
A's is Korean owned and operated. If that helps. I haven't tried there yet. I actually drive all the way into town to cut my hair, same cute ladies, and I get a scalp massage and wash. Prices are up to $16 now at fantastic sams. Been a satisfied customer for 12 years now.

I have been gone from Honolulu for years now so my street names are messed up.
What I can remember is it is on the one-way 4-5 lane road going TOWARDS university.
It is on the right/ocean side of the road.
Small place but usually 2-3 hot chicks...they massage you afterwards and if you get the woman that is actually named "A" she has gigantic breasts and basically places them in your face while you get your cut. She is Thai I believe and the rest of the women are as well.
BTW...it is next to a massage parlor ha ha ha! Julio is gonna want a haircut too...trust me friends...you DO WANT TO GO HERE.
