Last night, while driving home on H-1, I get hassled by a couple of punks in a... Yaris! WTF!?! After slowing down and speeding up next to me a couple of times, the guy finally floors it (I assume; the car made a bunch more noise but didn't really go that much faster) and took off. I get no respect....

 

You win some you lose some...

I had an encounter with an Integra who proceeded to do about 5 ricer fly-bys with is hazards on as he passed through traffic only to get stuck in traffic and do it again. Luckily the traffic cleared and the Integra decided he didn't want to go fast anymore slowed down and moved into the slow lane, and i proceeded to do a fly-by on him with my hazards on. Me and my friend were laughing for a solid 5 miles.

 

Don't worry Ross! ON friday night on my way to pick up one of our Sponsors for the AUW '09 Charity Event. I was blocked by a Red 1989-1990 240sx and a Red FC RX7!! The 7 was making alot of noises i guess trying to instigate a race with me so I dropped back. LOL.

 

no worries Ross, I just laugh out loud Smiley Face for the whole time while abiding by the law.

i know how you feel. i was about to post up something like this but you beat me to the punch. lol. But yeah on with my story. im tired of all these ricers trying to prove whos cars is fast and what not and honestly dude it aint worth it cause its putting you and other innocent people in danger. all i gotta say is if your gonna prove something take it to the tracks.

i remember one day i was on my way to work and the subie is the only thing i have (daily beater). So i was driving and there was this guy in a black honda giving me the eye and i was like, ok? and we ended up at a stoplight. when the light turns green he guns it while me and everyone else is going the speed limit. then we ended up at another stoplight and the guy in the honda says "one time". i knodded my head smiled and gave um the shaka. then the light turns green and thats when he starts pacing me for awhile and im guessing he grew impacient and yells "ahh for nothing your subaru" (downs it) and guns it again. and im like (WTF dude!) i mean i know theres alot of young teens thats still in high school or out of high school drive wreckless like there speedracer in there rice rocket. but the driver in the black honda was aleast at the age of 27, 28 or in his early 30's. Talk about FAIL!!

 

^dude the best thing to do is just sit back and enjoy the stupidity of the other driver... even when no one calls me out.

 

I had this guy in a camaro once call me out at a stoplight. It was on a road that the popo likes to frequent so I let him fly down the road just to watch him slam on his breaks once he saw the solobiker sitting on the side. He was lucky he wansnt gunning but I bet he learned his lesson.

 

Had a guy try to race me back in 2003. He ended up doing a ricer-fly-by on me only to be pulled over by a cop a few minutes later. I made sure to give him a couple beeps and a shaka as I drove by.

Also, once had two doofuses racing behind me once on the H1 going town-bound near the airport. They were cutting in and out of lanes trying to be Paul Walker or something. I decided to block the left lane which was the only clear one. Doofus one ended up losing control before they got to me (there was a 1/4 mile distance between where they were and me), hit the wall, spun out, hit doofus two and both doofuses in a heap at around 1:00 AM in the morning.

 

I've had my fair share of over stickered, under powered, off brand (kia) ricers try to race me. And its like...O_o wtf? And then there are other.

Like coming home from work on Oregon Expressway in Palo Alto, It was real late with not that many cars on the road, and I'm sitting at a light waiting for it to turn green just so i can go home. All of a sudden a car pulls up beside me and stops, I dont even look over i just notice the HID.

Then, the vehicle starts vigorously revving it engine at me. I notice that its not a v8 or a honda. I look over to find a 997 turbo. *Drool* But wtf is this guy trying to race me at a light? Long story short, he errr ricer flybys me a bunch a times in which I retaliate doing nothing, and he takes off. only to catch him on 101 for him to do countless more flybys =(

 

its ok ross...i just laugh at those kind of people i dont feel like wasting my gas on that kinda crap:P

i dont have this problem since my 98 forester is faster than my 2006 sti...I dont get it....no one want some when I drive the fozzy but everyone wants to beat on the the sti? I guess they catch me at the wrong time...and its never in school zones which makes no sense? Its not racing unless your in a school zone...

Naw, jk...but when I first got my sedan, a Civic kept ****ing with me and at a stoplight he wanted to race me for money because he thought my WRX was a Yaris. So, a new funny saying came about with my homies...

"I only race Yaris's for money"

 

I wouldn't call it a loss, seeing how it wasn't officially a race. Let it go, I'm sure they'll get there turn or get caught doing some dumb sh*t like that by the po po.
