ok i got your attention now check this out it may be one of the most retarded things youve ever heard or flippin brilliant..first off i want to know if anyone knows weather or not you can run your stock bypass valve with the return hose blocked and the bypass open.....i was just wondering what kind of sound it would make if you could which brings me up to my idea..(thanks mike now youve got me probing with my bov and coming up with realy dumb ideas! )...i want to put a sleeve of innertube type of rubber over the atmospheric release on my stock bypass or my bov to create a whoopie cushion sound or something that sounds like what a big balloon sounds like when you blow it up and let it go into the air i really dont know if this is even possible and want to know if any of you have tried something this retarded...... i figured maybe cause unless your boosting over 20 psi the bov is pretty much just for sound right?? and i figured someone has had to have tried making up different sounds for their bovs right??.... and i figured theres no way that im the only one out there whos thought up of something to do thats this retarded to your car...anyone??

hahahaha did that b4 for like 1hr then searched and didi find anything about it so i put it back to stock it was a cool sound tho i was rolling hahahahaha

 

 

did you do it with the piece of rubber and your stock bypass??

 

i actually had the plug from a spare HKS BOV kit just sitting there so i used that and it was the stock BOV

i know guys with mr2s run their stock bypass like that with no problems, i have tried to do it on my car and it does work, i used the turbo xs thing to plug the recirc. It just makes a clean whoosh sound . on another note when i use a bov sometimes my car dies when i clutch, rev (under 1500 rpm), and clutch again. mostly happens in stop and go traffic is this a common problem?

talk about retarded a long time ago someone i know taped a whistle to their blowoff to try and make a different sound, it did work for a real short while but after that it shot up and dented his hood.

 

Don't do it....I've tried it and it will make your car run like ****.

 

Haha pretty retarded but I have heard of people doin the whoopee cushion blow off mod, I posted a video a while ago of I think a wrx with a duck sounding blow off mod. It sounds pretty hilarious, might be good for a laugh on a drive through town to see peoples reaction. Hell try it out.

yeah so far every bov ive run which is only two.....makes my car run like crap but it does sound neat!!

 

i want mine sound like a lion or a tiger.. to scare them out of my way
