I-Club shooting range meet?/day

Just curious since I know that there are some military members, and members part of gun clubs/organizations,...

so how about a shooting range meet if someone can organize one?

Ive been to Koko head a few times, but not too familiar with all the range sites as I dont have my own shooting frame for pistols. I usually head to the metal target side limiting not being able to use long guns...

I normally head to Magnum so I dont usually have to worry what to bring other than my gear and paperwork...

You have to have paperwork to shoot in Hawaii?!

Hell, I can legally carry my gun with me anytime I wish other than the "restricted by law" type places like schools, gov. buildings, etc.

(I have a CCW).

I bring along my registration papers with me, just to clarify.
Permit to carry would be a little crazy in Hawaii and Im happy with license to own at this point..

I cherish my CCW...wouldn't live in a state that won't let me carry my gun to protect my family.

I miss Alaska laws...

It was the same in Alaska...

In Hawaii only criminals carry concealed weapons...with all the un-solved bank robberies here...wouldn't it be something to have someone try to hold up a bank...only to find themselves staring into the barrels of 10 cocked pistols from law abiding citizens??? I know, banks are one of those "restricted" areas as Blake mentioned, but really, I did not hear of any bank robberies happening in Anchorage...

GL with that. Even cops have a hard time in Hawaii obtaining a CCW while off duty.

My thoughts exactly. Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Besides I am a firm believer in anarchy will rule one day. That or zombies will take over.

Not necessarily. In many states there's no mention of banks on the restricted list. Besides in HI we can carry big *** knives.

Back on topic,..

Maybe we can do a small group or something...
I would need to build my own target frame, but its on the koko head website...
Would like any pointers or tips if anyone built one a little different than the website as Im sure that I may hit the wooden frame at some point in time...

I have my frames built with foldable legs that way its easier to store in the trunk. My current frame is shot up and I'm too lazy to make another so I'll just duct tape the damages (I hope its not against the rules). I would be down to do a meet but I can only go on Sundays (day off).

Best thing to do for frames is build a small base piece then build the frame itself out of lath. That way it's cheap and easy to fix the frame when it gets shot up.
