Never mind about getting a Legacy right now,.I went to Ohana Subaru in Waipahu and they said they are all out,..none on the island, ..the 06s are coming in and that'll add $1k to the price (which I dont want),.

Funny though, I live near Nimitz and went to 5 Star Subaru and they had 2 Legacy GTs there but with automatics,....Not what I want, so I have to leave it,..

I guess I have to get it shipped from OR or CA,..

The $1k will probably be for the NAV console. Should be an optional part. I think i bought the last SWP LGT Lmt and Hammer bought the last black one. You might be able to bring one in fm Or, Ca or even Wash. For less money too. Selection might be limited due to production ending in March (i think). Only one way to find out. Talk to Brandon @ Ohana. He actually found the car i really wanted first (Royal Blue w/ black leather) in Wash but SOA couldnt beat his pricing So i went w/ the SWP. No regrets at all w/ that choice.

I was looking at the Subaru.co.jp website and wonder if the 06 models would be anything like that..

The only changes would be a nicer 2 toned interior for the seats (black with grey inserts) and nicer exterior colors. Most noteably the addition of the darker silver/grey and the WRX Blue,..Both nice,..

I guess I have to order from Seattle or OR or CA as I dont think I will be able to afford the 06 prices. And I dont think that the little changes would be worth the $1k increase,...UNLESS it comes with a 6-Speed,..

If you want an 05 legacy with some add ons. I might sell mine. I am on orders for Japan. They don't recomand you ship your car there. They say buy a ***. car there for cheap and sell when you leave.

Good news for me,..I thought I had to wait till the next ship date on May 28th and get car june 13th,...

Dealer sent my car to dock today and Northland was able to put it on the boat even though the cutoff day was on Wednesday,..I should be getting my car at the end of May,...

Next up is to find 18" rims and tires,..I wonder what the stock 17" tire/wheel combo would sell for??

same here- i'm curious. i really respect joe spitz- his website rocks!
but i'd like to see exactly what the OTD price is- and what happens if there is damage on the car that was noted prior to shipping?

the reason i ask is because i ship about 3 cars a month to the outer islands and one time i had shipped one to maui w/a rock chip damage- the shipper(young bros.) noted the damage so they were not held liable(and its clearly noted on the shipping papers)

i know joe spitz has an impecable reputation- i'm just curious if support through local dealers is an agreement he's able to make in case it's ever needed.
