its a shame when you buy a plasma at its outrageous price, if it ever breaks, which i hear are common, you're screwed. those hardly can be repaired.
Plasmas are the shiz......except when you hear that most of them have a short life
i've heard that on average they have around 1 yr of continuous use in them.....and at $4-6 or 10k thats quite expensive
Not sure how many Midpac grads there are here but they have a pretty dope new tech building. I did a bunch of work there and they invested a ton in equipment. Smartboards, PC, projector, and dvd/vcr in every classroom. The main room is full of stuff. I think they got 5-6 Panasonic plasmas, and bunch a PCs and Apples all with NEC and Apple flat panel monitors. Even those Apple Cinema displays $$$. They even have some sweet video conferencing over IP equipment...video broadcasting...and more stuff that just seems wrong for a school to have
Is this what I missed going to public school??
