HKS Up-Pipe/Down-pipe Install

I check at Scooby Mods and found instructions on how to install an Up-pipe. Just want to know if it's a direct bolt on. I bought an HKS Up-pipe and down-pipe and want to install them myself ( save me money for christmas ) Is it just plug and play should I say? It doesn't require any adjustment or anything like that does it? Anyone installed an Up-pipe and downpipe themselves? Is it as simple as the instructions on Scoobymods?

Any info (relative to this subject) would be appreciated.

Thanks

yes they are direct bolt ons. just remember to spray some wd40 on the bolts before you try and take them off.

You'll have to butcher the heat shield and turn it into a hat.

Up-pipe is a major pain in the *** if you're an amateur mechanic... I rather have a professional install it for me. Just my $0.02

I would sell the HKS downpipe before you install it. It's fairly restrictive...not one of the good DPs out there in the market

or you could have a metal shop weld on a divorce wastegate pipe for you...then you'd have a 3" divorce downpipe for cheap

Talking

Mine took wayy long, but don't rush it, just in case you forget to torque A bolt and go crazy when you have to take it all apart to double-check everything ... haha.

SOMEHOW I managed to get the stocker out and the new one in without jacking up anything, disconnecting anything.. I think I manhandled the b*tch

If you don't feel like jacking up the engine, just try wiggling out the stuff, it's a puzzle but it comes out with some heavy encouragement.
