HKS Recirc Kit...
Anyone know off hand if someone in town has the HKS SSQV recirc. kit for the WRX/STI?
Does anyone here have this kit? What does it sound like?

They don't have one for Subaru but you could always adapt one.

well, the hks recirc kit, if your going to recirculate it, is giong to preform the same as the stock by pass valve, your going to be bypassing everything back into the engine anyways. also the recirc kit only comes wiht the flange, you gotta custom make something to mate back into the recirculation hose, and thats a biatch, so yeah, its going to be your choice tho, i think it would be a lot easier installing the bypass valve back on

hmmm....
Yeah, I knew what it would do...had a good idea of what it would sound like...didn't know that it only came with the fitting (like ordering a different colored sound fin)...it wouldn't be that hard finding a hose and fitting to mate to the return line......it does seem like a lot of unnecessary work though to reproduce the same effect as the stock recirc valve...
need to think about this one...

Since im still fairly novice to the world of boost and of course I went and got a BOV the first night I got the swap up and running, and its pretty bone stock save the TXS ram air, TXS uppipe, PDE DP, and exhaust with the TD04 turbo. Am I just wasting power with the fully atmosphereic BoV? From what Im gathering from looking at the boards I am. Sorry for the silly question Im ready to be flamed now ;P
