Ouch!!

I saw the damage as we came around the corner, but I didn't really get to see it up close. I hope it gets fixed like mint.

 

Wow, I really feel sorry for you and Jeff man I can already tell you that body parts to fix that the damage will cost at least $2000. (Bumper $300, Rear quarter panel $600+, Taillight $200, other stuff unsure)

 

AHHHHHH My Eyes!!!!! Dam....I hope everything works out for ya. Do you have pictures of the other parties involved?

 

No sorry I forgot to take pics of jeff's car but picture a white bugeye with no bumper and driver side light smashed with a bent hood. I am at Sigs ATM waiting to have my estimate done.

ouch, so sorry about that man when i saw you, i only saw your light... worst than i thought.

 

Ok quick update. Parts have been ordered and I will have to wait till they come in before any major work can be done. So the cars gonna be at home till 5/5 until I can bring it in.

 

How much was the damage? Did you get an estimate yet?

 

They gave me an estimate of about 5k with all the labor and repainting. But they need to take apart the bumper and see if the frame also needs work.

Dang Roel! Sorry to see your car in that condition! We're the ones that live a couple of blocks from you, we had the red bug eye, now we have a wrb bug eye.

We were all so bummed that we missed this cruise, but me and our new son didn't get released from the hospital until 1pm on sunday.

My husband and girls seen a few subaru's on their way to the cruise that morning.

 

Yeah actually I saw him on Sunday as I was turning in at the Aeloa sign to get back home. Apparently he didn't see the damage since he was turning right.

But Congrats for your new son being born! Hopefully when its fixed soon there will be another cruise that we can all go to.
