Dominic

Nuclear Electrician's Mate First Class. I run a small division of 14 guys on a Nuclear Attack Sub: the USS Tucson.

Basically I work on cool shtick with really really sh*tty hours. I like what I do. I hate the hours and my boss.

We recently launched the navy's new tactical tomahawk missle (Blk 4). It's a phenomenal (sp?) weapon.
read about our successfull launch

Sure. Must be an independently wealthy masochist though.

the rest of my time is spent teaching kung fu or doing lion dance performances.

So, I've always wanted to know this. Are nuclear engineers smarter than rocket scientists or what?

can't really say but the rocket scientists i know and the nuclear engineers i know i'd say the rocket scientist wins. but all the rocket scientist i know all of them lack in the common sense department and social skills. so the nukes wins the all around catagory. then again we do have a rocket scientist from nasa working for us in the non-nuke side now.

Damn you smart people. Maybe I should have paid more attention in math class.

I had Mr. Gross though (Punahou people know what I'm talkin' about). Turned me off to numbers PERIOD.

By day, I'm the Logistics Department Head and 2nd in Command of a highly technical support command group responsible for the maintenance and operational strike capabilities of the world's most powerful Navy. By night I'm a radically outrageous and out of control party animal known only as "Supa Pimp".
