HIIC Karaoke Night!
I'm looking to have one of these very soon. Need some recommendations on places to go that will house the masses that is HIIC.

Krazy Karaoke on 1308 Young Street...They have the most up-to-date music, local, hip-hop, r&b, ect....Also they have alot of parking, and clean large party rooms 20+ people.
Drinks are allowed if everyone in the room is over 21.

Not too sure, but "bring your own drinks" are allowed, as long as we keep everyone in the room over 21.

I just called them up, On Friday there hours are 11:00a.m. - 2:00a.m.
Bring your own drinks and food are allowed, there is a snack bar there. if we bring alcoholic drinks, everyone in the room must be of age. If someone in the room is underage, he or she must be accompany by there legal guardian.

sounds like another good night awaits us. how far in advanced do we need to book the room? what's the cost?

Booking should be done earlyer that same day, there rates for Friday are:
- Large Room (18 People) $50 an hour ($2.75 an hour per person)
There are larger rooms that can hold 35 and 60+ people, but i'm sure the 18 person room will work out fine for HIIC.

well... we may need the larger room since that'll give HIIC members the opportunity to bring their significant other (others)

I'm down to attend, I got a 4 day weekend comming up. And since I'm half Filipino, Karaoke is in my blood 
IF we need the larger rooms, the prices are:
- Party Room (35 People) $95.00 an Hour or $2.70 an Hour per person
- Super Room (60+ People) $160 an Hour/ "Special" 4 or more hours in the Super room, $120 an Hour."regular" price $2.66 an Hour per person, "special" price is $2.00 an Hour per person.
IMO, I would stick with the Large 18 Person room....

ok sounds good maybe the 18 people room would be best based on the price but if we can collect the money before hand it might be in our best interest... what about food? is there food there?

I'm broke too. no worries i'll only plan if i got money and right now this is seeing any interest. it'll probably be for the first week of september or towards the end of the month on a pay day.
