I still wave/shaka to Impreza drivers and I still get the wtf-look. Understandably so. My car suffers from mistaken identity. It has an I-Club sticker.

I think it all went downhill when many of our cars became mainstream.

 

yeaaaah i get the wtf look sometimes too, i usually take a good look at the driver before i do the \m/ (shaka)

 

I get the same wtf look or most times ignored when I try shaka others when I actually see them. I think maybe most don't realize my car is a subaru maybe? Kinda whack.

 

Nah i figure most are either older people who drive the cars and just dont know, or some are new to the island and just dont know about the suby community here

yesterday at Kalihi street by Aloha gas station saw the same girl white penuteye wrx wagon with black rims
