we can get you the Transmission, Shift linkage, Clutch set, Driveshaft, and Rear diff ... for around 3500 plus tax.

Daaayyyaaammm!

I didn't think I could afford one, but maybe I can. I'd be interested in STI V7 or V8 or RA or Spec C heads that are large port.

San,

IMHO, I think buying used JDM WRX heads and installing the Jun stage 2 is a better option.

Used JDM WRX heads go for about $500. The ports are already larger on the JDM heads compared to the USDM WRX heads. Yes, the ports on the JDM WRX heads are not as big as the V8 spec C ports, but the difference is not that obvious.

Sean can source the Jun parts.

Also, Imprezer is running the JDM WRX heads with Jun cams.

Thanks Sean. I just have to take care of priorities first and recover from a few bad financial decisions (please don't tell anyone).

I know that that's the setup you guys are most fond of, but what do you think about WRX heads with US STI cams and new springs?

Should I buy new head studs or am I fine with what I have?
