Help with stereo

Hey long time reading on this page but first time posting. I am starting on my stereo system for my suby and I am putting in an alpine deck but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas what to do with the left over space after deck is installed. I have seen pockets put into other cars but dont know where to find them at. Any help would be great.
Mahalo

ohh and sorry posted this in the classified mistake.

You could go that route and put the black pocket in. They sell them at most local stereo shops for like $10-13.. OR you could order the Forrester DIN pocket which perfectly matches the interior. The part is 66128SA040 and you can get it through the parts departments of the subaru dealers here or online from allsubaru, subaruparts, etc.

I got the regular pocket from Elite Electronics on Keeaumoku in the Samsung Plaza...less than $15 I think.

Opted out of the Forester pocket cuz I'm lazy to wait for it

However, I got the Alpine 9827 deck which has blue lighting (changing my interior lights to blue) and silver face which matches my interior trim

i opted for the pocket for the same reason as bpang1, i don't like waiting for stuff so i have the pocket as well. i actually just cut some black abs plastic to size and covered the pocket up. it is now where i mounted my boost controller. i have the blitz sbc-id and it fits like a glove and when or if i do get the matching power meter it will sit right net to it and will look perfect. my sub will be here on sat so i'm thinking sat or sun i will put it in so if you need help just pm me and stop by. stereo takes about 30 min to install. Thank you didnt know that subaru made that. Will prob go with the ordering wait for that instead of the black pocket. Getting all of my parts together first then will put it all in at once. Then will prob ask questions about exhaust, rims and such later. Thanks again
