That should be your 1st mod.

Nevermind about the "learn how to drive".......
I think your 1st mod should a under-body-neon kit, blue would be the color I'd get.
2nd I would get this.... http://www.takakaira.com/asp/templat...%3Fa%5Dd%40%5F
3rd....TornadoFuelSaver/CycloneFuelSaver http://www.myauto.tv/tfs/
Then you need to sell your STi spoiler and get an APC tri-wing spoiler.
An den.....you should get some cool @ss stickers and paste them all over the car.
....oh and don't forget the blow off valve and boost fluid 'cause they add like 10HP each.

We just don't want to see any more pictures of totalled STi's. It makes those of us who don't have one really sad.
The STi is a very special car. The cars abilities probably exceed your driving capabilites at the moment. Going to Auto-X events and getting instruction is the best 'upgrade' you can do right now, plus it's cheap and it's lots of fun to 'install'.

Your first mod should have been not telling everybody your dad bought you the car. Not to many people like rich kids that have parents who buy them everything. Just forget about mods for now. I personally haven't been to any Auto-X events but am trying to make it out to the one in Apr but have at least made it out to a few track days. Like some have said learn to drive what you have now you can throw all the mods on it you want but if you bring it out to a track day and you can't drive your going to be at the back of the pack the car is faster than you think as it is. Now if your parent bought you the car and you at least work to pay for all the parts that's not to bad..

wow, kids from my alma mater getting richer and richer nowdays.
do what you wanna do, its not my car, i don't really care. everyone new on this board wants a HKS SSQV and a HKS CF-TI exhaust, because its ricey. Do your research and you'll find that there are better systems out there.
no matter where you go, if you say that your parents bought you a 30k car, you're gonna get flamed at. its not jealously, its the fact that your parents would shell out that much money into that much power of a car. i'm not saying you can't drive for **** or anything, just that 16 year olds can't drive as good as a 30 year old(except for Richard). theres a few people under 18 here, that has or HAD a wrx. might wanna talk to them about i-club. i-club is friendly, just there will be a rift between the newer and younger guys and the older and vet's here.

But really all you need to do is clean up all the little sloppy areas of the STi. The streeing and shifter bushings, brake lines, springs and lateral links are weak areas. After doing that you'll be able to drive the car faster, with the power it makes stock.

I think what everyone is trying to say is the STi is an awsome car straight out of the box. Spend your money on AutoX, 1/4 mile, and track days (if we ever have them again). Learn to drive the car as it was ment to be driven, and at the same time get your rocks off legally.
