i say go with the exaust.... being that you have a legacy GT is it a single exit or does it split? i've the AVO exausts in one of the issues of subiesport and i believe they are dual tip- either that or wait till someone offers a less expensive tbe

I would get the Crucial up and downpipe for about $700 and the $1300 or so you can get Lachute catback or cheaper yet Greddy Evo or SP2, Stromung, Fujitsubo,..etc,..

2Gs isn't THAT much for a quality TBE considering you have 2 tips ... ie 2 canisters.
I say go exhaust!

that is a pricey tbe, tho..
does the rims price include tires ? if so, what kine (race, street, rubbish) ?
if not, then u're looking at another $500-800 for tires

I
vote for neither. $2K is too much for a tbe. I can purchase a titanium catback and nice downpipe for much less than that and save lots of weight. And the wheels don't get my vote because they're 18 X 7.5. Why go with an 18 that's only 7.5 wide? If it's just for bling, feel free, but my 16s are 7.5 and my 17s are 8.5. I'd consider an 18 only if I was looking for something wider than 8.5. Just my 2 cents.

Unfortunatly i cant get a wider wheel in that style due to offset limitations. The tires would be GRBs if i got it w/ rubber. I was thinking of getting them bare and shoeing them w/ GS-D3s @ Goodyear. Im just not a big fan of the Falken GRBs. The TBE is dual muffler setup. Honestly both items could be said to be a performance upgrade. The wheels/tires would give better handling and ride not to mention that they are much lighter than the stock 17x7.0s. W/ the TBE i could easily flash the Cobb Stage 2 and yield even more power that way. Im currently running stg 1.

For
what it's worth, I have the Goodyear F1 GS-D3s on my 16 X 7.5s. Only a little mileage on them, but considering I was running R-compounds on 17 X 8.5s, the Goodyears feel pretty good. I'll know more with some additional mileage.
