Have you seen this black 2007 Subaru STi

This is a long shot but I'm trying to find out more about a 2007 Subaru STi that was recently shipped from Hawaii...(March 2010)

Here's what I know:

2007 Subaru STi with just over 35k miles.

Title out of Kaneohe Bay, HI

Interior was swapped out with a WRX leather interior; console is out of an older generation Sti

COBB Stage 2 kit

The guy selling the car says it was a repo... But I think there's something wrong with this car....

Would really appreciate it if someone has more info on this car!!

Here's some pics:

i've never seen that car around, but then i'm usually always working.
the console looks like the 06-07, don't see what part is from an older gen sti.
also, the leather could possibly be the 07 limited seats? i don't see a sunroof, so i'm guessing it's not an 07 limited with a trunk/wing swap.
i'll tell you one thing that's for sure wrong with it. the previous owner didn't even have the decency to get sti floor mats. hahah

The center console's armrest looks like the pre-2006/2007 version - it's the taller armrest and it has two compartments. Am I wrong?

The car is not a limited edition. Someone simply swapped out the interior and replaced it with a wrx leather interior (is my guess). The seats don't have the STi stitching... And now I'm wondering if the airbags in the seats are even hooked up.

The armrest is an OEM option, it does not come standard on the older models, I wish it did, I still want one.

Also, E-brake is on the drivers side still which means that that is an 05+ center console.

the guy use to roll with us b4 but was too hardcore into street racing so i asked him to take of our logo so we dont get busted for his activity's or placed in the same group.. he did and was cool about it.

This car was tuned by 3 different tuners. the last tune he got it tuned aggressive and well need I say more? the car wont be covered under warranty cause the dealer already knows about this one, it has been flagged.

a fellow i-clubbers cars is where these wrx limited seats and door cards came from and their cars has the sti stuff. the sti owner wanted the leather so he could look more like a wrx then a STi. i believe it also has 255/40/17 Azenis RT-615's on the stock rims....

This car was a mainland car before it ever came to hawaii. the prior owner did do oil changes every 3k miles and he also did the tranny fluid.

This car was tracked on Maui at 13.40 with a spt intake & turbo back exhaust with no tune.......

damn i can go on and on about this car

I can't believe I found someone who knows about this car!!! Wow! What's even more amazing is that I found this site, i-club, from another site which I found from another site! I'm absolutely shocked to find out this car's history..

shaggadelic, I can't thank you enough dude! You just saved me years of headache and thousands of dollars. And you're right, the car still has Azenis tires...

I was so close to just taking a chance and buying the car... Tomorrow was the deadline for me to decide on the car before I head back to Seattle (the car is in Portland). I'm so glad I posted on i-club first. You guys rock!

Here's a link to the car's ad:
