Ok fellow iclubbers, I've been thinking and thinking for the last 5 hours and thought you guys could help!! I dont know what to get, my girlfriend said its one or the other but I cant have both.S**T! Its either Ultra rare JDM STi GEnome gauges or Rota formel in Gold rims wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE70... Please help me guys, Im already on my 5th cigarette trying to decide while my mind is just lost at the moment!!! Heres a pic of each item.... WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS GO FOR!! ALL FEEDBACKS ARE WELCOMED =)

 

i would just get the gauges.... you could always get rotas..

 

the JDM STI Genome gauge set isn't as rare as you think. they are made by defi so the only difference is the actual gauges say sti genome on them and they use control unit version 1 with an sti stamp on it. the instructions are in japanese and the colors aren't labeled in the diagrams (i've installed a few).

the rotas are also a nice touch but unless you absolutely need tires right now i'd go with the gauges. unfortunately the gauges read out in kph and bar so you'll have to convert but at least you know what's going on with your engine.

I'm more for performance rather than looks. you have to decide but if it were up to me between the two i'd get the gauges then save some money and buy some new rotas and new tires

Why do you let your girlfriend tell you what you can and cannot get? I mean, if it's with your own money you can buy whatever you want right? I say if you can afford it get both if that's what you want.

 

Get the gauges , more practical usage .

 

The rims are used and they are going for $650.00 and the gauges are on sale for under $700 bucks but normal pricing is $958.60... Oh by the way, my g/f is buying whatever I choose as a early b-day gift.

If you want to see the guages there in my car. They were pricey but I love them anyways.

 

depends if you track your car. if you do, then get the gauges. if not, then get the rims and tires.
