Great Subie turnout at Test and Tune Day

As usual there was a great Subie showing at Test and Tune!
The RS, WRX and 4 STi (Only 3 drove since one was right off the showroom floor), were welll represented and there was even an Outback there.

Joey got to drive almost everyones STi so he could be tempted more.

I was very happy with the performance on the course and it took me about 2 runs before I was comfortable enough to start pushing it (like I do my wagon). My best time was a 54.4 with 1 cone. I didn't play around with DCCD at all, but I know Dan did so perhaps he can comment on how that worked out.
The tires feel very sticky, but I don't think they will last long doing AutoX.

BTW, where are all the Evo 8s at? I really would like to see how an Evo does in AutoX. Hopefully they'll come out for the track day. I won't be able to make it out early enough to run this month, but I'm going to try to stop by after lunch and watch.

This is true...but I just wanted to see what it was like on the track. Thanks to Ryen for letting me push his car alittle more than I would normally. Overall, I pulled similar times in the STi as I did in my own car with street tires.

Well my times went something like this......

1) 57 DCCD on Auto <--------1 cone
2) 57 DCCD on Auto <--------2 cones
3) 56 DCCD on 35/65 <-------DNF
4) No time <-------No cones
5) 56 DCCD on 35/65 <-------DNF
6) 55 DCCD on 35/65 <------clean

I think the DCCD will be more fun an track days than at Solo II

that's because.......

A) your a very good driver

B) Auto-X is set up for lower speeds

Now there should be no doubt, that Turbo'ing the RS is the way to go!!!
