Grats on the 12.8's again, Wes!

You're almost back on track with a newer, gentler clutch! Go you, Boy!

Alright... After the VF34 goes in, I'll be out there (with you driving!) so I can see if I can break into the 12.7's...

Thank you!

It's was weird at first, it took me about a week to really get used to it. Im very happy to have a normal operating car again

Although I do feel it's sorta the heel in my car, but that's ok. The coilovers make it hard to drag race now heheh So I think I'll be spectating at bit more

I had them set real stiff last week, and I got a lot of wheel hop. So with Richard's advice I tried them on 1/1 and got some wheel hop, but with the 1st to 2nd shift, I get a really loud thud. I can feel it thru the shifter and the floor. It feels like someone's got a hammer under there and is wacking it. That's how bad it sounds and feels. Im hoping it's the exhaust piping wacking the floor, and nothing too major. It did this while at 1/1 and 2/1. I also noticed that by revving a little higher than I usually do makes that happen.

I think I know the sound you're talking about. Does it sound like it's coming from the rear diff?

ya know, now that you mention it, yes it does!!

I also got the back seats out, and oh man is there a lot of noise hehehe. the fuel pump makes all kinds of noise, I can hear the gas sloshing around, and the exhaust note inside the car is insanley loud now. And the squishing from the cuscos is also louder

I think there may be a way to get rid of the thud, ..... I can't remember if there are replacement bushings or what ..... I'll try to find out ...

I think you can get 'hardened' or 'solid' bushings for the rear diff, ... number 11 on that pic.

Also, if you haven't already gotten the STi engine and tranny mounts, .... you will be needing them soon. It's amazing what a still suspension will do to your car, ... it brings out the best, ... and worst!

Thumbs up

Great run!

Did you run with a stock clutch and flywheel?
