GPS systems are awesome!
Whoa...feeling a little better...contracted a sinus infection while on the planeride back from LA...
Just wanted to share my experience using a GPS while in SoCal last week...all I can say is that it is awesome!
It's the first time I've gone to california where there was not a single argument between the navigator and pilot of the car...the gps system got us from the rental car place to our hotel in 35minutes (LAX to Disney)...without a single mistake...
In all, we were there 8 days and not a single minute was spent trying to find our way around things...just dial in the address and a route was created...if you took a turn to site see, it would either get you back on course or reroute you...
People might criticize how GPS units do not necessarily select the "best" path...oh well...I can live with that...you can supposedly subscribe to a GPS service that routes you around traffic and accidents...pretty cool stuff...
I think one of the highlights of the trip was visiting the Oakley Sunglass factory...got some lenses replaced and looked around...I took a picture of the front of the building...pretty cool. I'll try and post it tonight...
