Got to play tonight...
Haven't had a highway altercation in a while. So I decided to cordon off a good portion of the H1 tonight and do some "closed course, professional driver, not on the public roads driving". 
I was running back to the office from Jimmy's house where I was helping him pull his manifold off and what do I see in my rearview? Some SWEET purple HID's... Looks like a luxo-cruiser is rollin' up my butt... But what kind of car is it?
Turns out to be a SWEET lowered silver S4 with a young(ish) guy driving... As he rolls up next to me (I'm in the middle lane, he's in the fast lane) I hear his blow-off sound.
Me: "Oh, noes!!!1 Whatever shall I do? S4's are teh FAST 'on the roll', right?"
Nope.
I looked over, gave "wassup?" nod and it was on...
I just gave it a quick burst in 3rd from 4k-7k or so and a just a smidge of 4th gear before letting off for obstacles (no other cars on the road as this was a closed course, remember 
)... I'm sure that it would have been closer if the S4 had time to stretch it's legs but as it was the quick spool on the '34 and my eagerness to test out my race map on 76's 100 octane gas made quick work of the Teutonic highway terror.
MAN, that felt good.
