More of a fan of the older 7, 8, & 9 evos, but the new evo is faster and more high tech,...
Just not my thing and dont like Mitsu's service on Hawaii,.,,
Next up is finding a good Mitsu mechanic for down the line,...
Nice Evo X tho,..

Thanks guys, yeah I looked at the Gsr but didn't like the options and they only had a red one, it's nice not having to shift, might be looking at getting a 06/07 STi for the wife.. And yeah I had to give the fmic with the car, I sold my top mount last week lol... I still got some parts left that I gotta sell l

Yeah, I'm a fan of the older years too but i didn't want a used one. And they gave me a 8yr 100000mi bumper to bumper warranty so I'm not gonna touch the motor for a while.. Just suspension, rims and exterior parts

Nice...Congrats on a nice car!
I went to the dark side briefly feeling the same as you...
I purchased a 2006 Evo IV MR/SE...fully loaded with 6700miles on it...Graphite Gray...special edition MR/SE wheels etc...
I started the modding...it already had a nice intake and AMS tune...I added a 3.5" ETS catback and was getting ready to do the normal LICP/UICP/injectors/fuel pump/Header/DP....turbo.
It was fun to drive, handled fantastically, but it was just missing the low end grunt that I enjoyed on my STI...I remember having to slip the clutch just to get up the ramp at my work place...and even then, it felt like it was going to stall out on me...once I hit midrange...all was fine though...
I met a lot of cool people on the EVO side...but I guess it was never the same...
I missed the Subaru Community here on the Island...it was just not the same hanging with the guys in an EVO at a Suby meet either...I just felt out of place...anyhow, as you can probably tell, I'm back in a Subaru...
There are days when I miss the EVO...but those are few and far between...
