Goodbye RSX?
http://autos.msn.com/advice/article....tentid=4023981
OK so I wouldn't actually buy the car unless I needed a commuter or something like that (but I would probably get a Honda Fit for a commuter)...but damn!
Can't really believe they're getting rid of the RSX. I thought it was one of Honda's staple cars.
It's not really something that I would want for the money but I swear I see more RSXs than I do Subies.

I heard that Acura wanted to go to a strictly more upscale market. So they are dropping the RSX. I guess honda will be pushing the SI as the new entry-level sportscar.

Could work but the SI fills 90% of what the RSX used to be just not as luxurious and no Acura cachet.

I guess the Civic will be to the RSX what the Scion TC is to the Celica (yes, the Celica as well as the MR-2 are going to the grave).
While the CRX (pronounced "See Our Wrecks") was a great little car, it was a deathbox. I'd hate to be in one in an accident.

i also heard a while back that it was going to be phased out so acura could be "high class"
i would have thought that it would pick up the Honda emblem though.

RSX gone, like i care, praise the lord that the GTO/Holden manaro is finally being seen as a big mistake. i wish they would did it riht like ford did with the mustang. i mean really, the "GOAT" was a bi name back in the day, and for me as a kid browing up with my father building my '69 GTO.

It is amazing how short a lifespan some car models have though.
