Ok i got a new gf who lives in Kalihi now and its a 6.2 Mile drive to there and another 6.2 miles back. Thats 12.4 miles one travel and then i gotta drop her off so its 24.8 miles a day.grrrr. Racking up the miles. My car is 3 years old and it has 14K...but soon to rack em miles up. BTW all my previous GF's lived 0.5 miles from me. SOrry gotta vent how bad this sucks. But she is so worth the pick up.

haha.. sounds like someone is whipped!.. nah j/k. I used to have it worst. I live in kapolei and all my gf's lived in town. how's that 40miles round trip? I think i racked up like 45k miles before I put my baby down. suddenly yours isn't that much huh? haha... girls are worth it though, but not all

Ha ha, I thought I was the only one who did the crazy 50 mile trek to visit and p/u the girlfriend. Mine used to live in kapolei, and I live in town. I'd pick her up in the daytime and drop her off at night... I measured it at about 25 miles each way from my home to hers... it was a killer.

well the easiest thing is to get rid of your girlfriend so that you don't have that problem with the mileage. i drive my car and love to drive my car.
if mileage is a problem for you then maybe a modified subaru or a turbo subaru isn't for you then.

Are you serious???? I've driven farther for much less. 24 miles is nothing. It's not much less than that to get to the closet track her and it is a 1/8 mile drag strip.. And no road course. Gotta go to Memphis or farther for that..

that's not too bad. my ex lived in waikiki and i live in pearl city. and i drive 25miles round trip for work 5 days out of the week. it's all part of the daily driver...shoots baluts!
