General Motors loses 1.3 Billion...

..in the first 3 months of this year alone. Just saw this on the news. "GM has relied too much on truck/suv sales. Falling truck/suv sales have exposed many problems that were previously masked by the revenue from these sales." said one of the analysts.

I heard that most of the debt stems fm issues w/ Mitsubishi's automobile quality. Lots of warranty work....

None of the Big 3 is in the greatest shape, but GM in particular is really hurting. I read somewhere that one of the biggest problems for the US automakers is all the pension plans. Some unreal amount, I want to say like $2300 or something like that, of every car GM sells goes to paying the pensions of retired workers.

I thought that Mitsubishi had ties to Daimler/Chrysler.
