Actually, '04 and '05 FXTs were the quickest. '06 FXTs grew heavier, sit taller, and are geared taller. In effect, they're just plain slower.

If I was back in Alaska...
This would be the car for me...all year round...I would still drive my STI the other 6 months...
I would drive the STI all year except for the fact that if there were even 6" of snow...I would be acting as the neighborhood snow plow...and replacing my front bumper every year...
That XT Turbo would be perfect...
