Good lord! You're going with a T67 also? I guess that means I'll have to get mine before you and flatelinesti. I want to be the first to break the 11's and I mean deep 11's.

It's gigantic, comes with it's own up and down pipes, is externally gated. If I ever switch to a 2.5 block, this is the set up I'm probably going to run.

Doesn't Dom have something equivalent to the T67 on his car? That thing also has it's own UP/DP w/external wastgate.

Unless you reinforce your motor, you are better off with a green or something equivalent. The T67 is a big turbo made for more boost. Anything 25psi or over is not healthy for the stock internals.

Yes, there are benefits with this turbo, but spending $2,500 plus on this kit and not using its full potential is a waste of money, unless you just want to be known as the guy with T67.

you can spend an uber amount of money on your car, but if you dont learn to drive it, then it's not worth it.

practice, practice, practice before you decide to plunk insane amounts of money in your car.

that sucks. I thought expensive parts came with instant skills. I guess its not like when you put big stickers on your car

Hey t51fc I'll buy your VF 39 if you aren't going to use it......I have a plan.

At first I wanted a T-67 kit...Then I gave it a little bit more thinking and said WTF am I going to do with all that powArrr? Plus it's too much $$$$$$ T-67 kit, intercooler, EM & supporting mod's. What is that almost $5000?

My 2nd Idea was to go with a VF 37 twinscroll set up. <----which I still may do down the road.

Now that I've had time to think about things, I think my current set up will be the best for my needs right now.

Phase 1...(as soon as it ships)....... a Cobb STi stage 2 kit

Phase 2.... As soon as I hit the mainland.....I'm going to have my stock injectors blueprinted and a Hybrid VF 39 made for me.

Phase 3....Take 100lbs off the car and get a light flywheel

Phase 4 ....off for a road trip to Cobb for some custom tuning.

Phase 5.....It's on

Balance is the key, I think the T-67 kit will "unbalance" all but the "highest level" of overall tuned cars.

It does make sense, Dan.

Perrin has started doing the "Dremel" treatment to injectors to make them flow at max rate. I know that San brought that up months ago.

I like the flywheel thought. My clutch has maybe a season (less if I get to Bandimere) left, and when I have to get it replaced I will prolly go with the light flywheel....

If you are going out to Cobb, come out to my place. I'm only 600 miles away. You can stay with me (we have room, trust me) and we can go cruise up Pikes Peak and all around the front range.

This goes for any i-club guys coming in my area (Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo). Mi casa es Su casa. PM me.
