If you are interested in a nice 16G for a good price, Deadbolt has some of them that they can port and polish for extra fun. Pretty sure it's a straight bolt on, but you can email them to make sure.

Nice. A PnP'd VF30.

My only concern with the PnP for turbo's is the lack of tuning available (to you guys... I will live within driving distance of Cobb) in Hawaii. Did you finally get the UTEC, or some other equivalent? I'm sure a normal VF30 map will work just fine, but I know it would be so much better with a custom tuned map.

just my $0.02

Actually, Deadbolt has bolt on 16g's, from EDM subarus (i think). Good luck getting one though! I heard he's backordered for a few months.

No Utec for me i got a vishnu stg 2 unichip for real cheap. its only until cobb comes out w/ there acess Ecu & tuner. Oh you haven't heard SG is in the market for a All wheel drive dyno. I haven't heard anything new lately but i think he is still gonna do it.

Yeah but when it all came down to it: 150 turbo, 44 shipped to deadbolt, 50 inspection, 200 rebuild, 200 P&P, 60 bucks to have it 2nd day air shipped to me. Total=704.00 it was worth it but i wish i would have though it out longer and bought some rims & tires instead. oh well, i'll just wait till after christmas

Still sounds like a good deal. Your essentially getting a brand new P&P turbo for the cost of a new unported one from a vendor (before shipping!). I think you'll be happy .

You made a good decision. For one thing, there shouldn't be any worry as to durability.

good choice. I keep putting off my rims and tires, too. All in all, a VERY good deal. PnP'd VF30 should have some HUGE flow numbers. Now you just need some good displacement to push it
