most of the time it's nothing. it's shooting the **** and hanging out with each other. really it's to get to know each other and mingle with other people.
Sometimes someone will pop their hood and most people flock to it like flies on ****. It's just to show off what new thing they spent their money on. Though no one is perfect and no one really knows everything this is the best environment to learn at this point. IF someone hosts and install day and there is much going on you can learn a lot from them as well.
There is NOTHING wrong with you learning a little something about the car that you drive. For me personally I feel it is silly for someone just to "drive" their car and not take care of if you know. I'm not referencing you at all just saying in general.
We've met though so if the other people stated don't show up you can still chat with me. OH YEAH, Eric should be coming out to this one so that we can see how the toe story will be progressing...

At the last meet there were 4-5 of us (girls) depending on the time. I have only been to 5 or so meets but so far everyone has been VERY nice. You should definitely at least stop by.

I dont know what it is that seem to make all the womenfolk skittish about the meets. honestly no one cares if you do or dont know anything about the cars (hell half the guys there dont know anything either lol

well people like to be fashionably late all the time. Usually state rolling in at about 8~830. people stay until god knows when but I start heading out at about 11 or so depending on if i work the next day, if i'm tired or irritated of something or the real reason is that I get "the call"
