Sorry for the late reply lol. I went island cruising with my family that day as I hardly had quality time with them in a while. I was hoping to catch you guys in between but I went the other way...

I also heard I stood you up as you were the only '15 there. My apologies...

I had family here from the east coast. I realized when my buddy Masa told me about the park being full of scoobs, that you were headed there when I saw you! We will go to the next one now that the family is gone.

While everyone is leaning towards making it faster, I'm doing preventive maintenance mods...

2011-2013+ Perrin AOS installed.

How does an AOS work, I mean, do you have to empty it occasionally? Watched a few videos and seemed some people emptied theres, so I'm a little confused...

An AOS works just like a catch can but it returns the oil back to the crankcase so there is no need for draining and reservicing oil. Also, Crawford and Perrin has a built-in heater option which uses coolant lines passing through the AOS to keep temp deltas in check for condensation prevention.

An AOS' main job is to keep oil that is carried by blow-by gases from entering the intake and into the combustion chamber. Oil can contaminate the intake stream, lower your fuel octane, and cause catastophic damage if too much of it is consumed by the engine. Ever read why people wonder where they have no idea where their oil goes, even when they don't have leaks or blown seals?
