First the manufacturers, now the insurance companies.
I was just reading this on the New York Times website, and I thought that some or most of you would find it interesting. I know that most if not all manufacturers, are against tracking or driving your car like it was built to do. Now the insurance companies are cracking down.

After reading the article, I just thought it was wrong because the one guy in the article inquired about it, and he was dropped a few months later. I am not sure of all the other circumstances the company had to drop him. I can see where the insurance companies are coming from though.
My thoughts were anything that occurred during a track events were not covered by insurance. I have never participated in a auto-x or track day, and I am not sure of the policies of the events. I would like to hear everyone thoughts on this.

i have USAA. good thing i never even asked. sucks that that guy got dropped from them for just asking.
USAA is the cheapest insurance out there if you have an military backround. Liberty mutual was close, i checked them out since they love subie owners. but USAA still beat them by a decent amount.
My insurance is very clear though about "competetion" events timed or not. as well as my SOA warranty. I dont know how others are but they spell it out no racing of any kind. even High-performance driving schools arent allowed.
