haven't been on the ground out there, but at sea for 6 months at a time can drive you mad....just takes a bit longer

love listening to my kids...(kids I work with) complain when TV goes out, or they can't send e-mail....

That's what drives me nuts, because they don't realize how good we have it at sea, compaired to the forces on the ground.

First time I was out to sea....e-mail didn't even exist on the ship. Still used pen and paper...back in good old 1993....
