today was a big upset!!! we found out the other tranny i have may be junk no sure yet. if it fails i'm done and parting out my car or selling all oem stuff with car that i have for a good price. so i am asking everyone who can please come help tomorrow friday to get this car to work. if not i'm DONE. i will post up my final out come tomorrow about everything from start to finish. i mean everything. well i dunno yet. i am not happy with this swap and i wish i never did it. i may explain later not sure yet. but if u can come by to help b/c the tranny is very heavy please let me know.

again thanks for everyone's help and support and again thank u jon, aaron and jearrin for coming by tonight and trying to help me. i think we will try to start again tomorrow at 1ish give or take an hour i dunno know yet just call

Why do you think the tranny is junk?

 

the first one 2nd and 3rd were gone and this one b/c it was in a front collison the force of the impact made the drive shaft stuck in it and will not come out which is very bad. and also the stress and torque of that accident seems like it may have messed with the internals of the tranny. i came to this conclussion(sp) when jearrin said thats what hapened to a car that they were working on. b/c the collison was in the front it messed up the rear. which makes sense

 

we'll be there as soon as we can ****. sorry it didn't go well last night but we tried...

in the mean time if you could get taller jackstands/heavy duty ones that we can use that would be great! also see if you can borrow a batter jack since the one you're using isn't meant to hold up and entire front end of a car it's only meant to be used for quick things. the contacting service of that jack is very small and isn't steardy enough for what we're going.

if my brother and jaren can come down there today they'll be there. i'll be showing up later since i work

not just for this car but your next car as well... if you plan on modding cars in the future then you'll need these things if you know what i mean.

damn ****, sorry to hear that.. i wanna tell you to not give up but i can kinda see what your going through...like me, ever since my turbo went in,(summer of last year) it hasnt ran its best.. all sorts of problems..then got it fixed.. then put in fmic. now runs like crap..at times i felt like selling my car to get a sti but i didnt.. so many people dedicated their time into helping me on my car..so instead of trying to fix it on my own, im taking it to vakamon tomorrow and hopefully ryan can fix my problem...if he does, free sway bars for everyone!!!!!!!!!!

like i said guys thanks for the support tho this project should have never takin place everything was wrong from day one. i will post y i give up later but so u know if i had everything i was told i would have and if the parts weren't junk i would do it. but idon't and thats life.
