Filling up gas

I made a thread like this a few months back. The gas meter on in my cluster is all ****ed. It wasnt that bad before. It used to only reach the 3/4 mark when it's full. Now, i cant even tell how much gas there is in my car because sometimes it tells me it's full and sometimes it the needle goes down to empty and the light goes on. Last nite i went to shoot some pool and the the needle read empty and the light came on. When i was going home, it was at half tank. I was like wtf. It just irritates me to not know how much gas there is in my car. Does anyone know what this problem is and how it can be fixed?

Ahah, once again!

I was thinking bout' the old thread since I was thinking about the Manapua truck

It is right what Stupid Chicken said about resetting the odo meter

It's evident that your float is not working properly

Pops naggs me ever since I started driving that I should never let the gas tank reach below half way

try and experiment with that before ever going halfway on you gas

Mines has been doing this, I just dont look at it anymore so I just reset my odometer as a gas gauge.

When my Odometer was at 80 miles yesterday, the fuel light was on.. Its pretty annoying but at least I know I have gas.

I got this intermittent problem also. I've read a lot of info on this from fuel senders to fuel pumps.

Any feedback is helpful.
