Tell me this isn't so......I saw the preview in the theaters and it looks sweet. The above link also mentions its his final martial arts epic. Anyone know anything more on this?

yea, seen the chinese one a very long time ago, pretty good. in my opinion, jet li's chinese movies are wayy better than his american ones. i didnt really like his american movies..

 

Actually Jet Li was first quoted as saying that this would be his last "period" movie. Here's Jet Li in an interview with Joblo.

"So is it true that you’re stepping away from doing martial arts movies and trying to do films that showcase your acting talent?

No, I think I said…I said FEARLESS is my last martial arts movie. Because I put my heart in it, all my beliefs, the physical part, the mental part, everything’s in that movie. You know, I’ve been learning martial arts since I was eight years old and the character I played, he’s a martial artist, great martial artist. So I put a lot of my life experiences in that film. But that’s the last one, martial arts movie. Martial arts is in my mind, it’s totally different. The Chinese character, how you write martial arts, its stop, war. Stop the war, stop the fighting. Two words put together it’s martial. But this kind of film, an action film, I will continue to make."

Go watch Fearless, it's a great movie.

yup, got the movie from TNJ's ....i liked the movie, a lot of martial arts. i agree his american movies arent very good. i think the only good one he played was in lethal weapon. hes gotta stop mixing popolos and haoles in his movies.

that Jet Li has a heart condition that could worsen into a deadly situation if he continues such physical abuse..

I havent watched the movie yet but I plan to for the reason that the group Jing Mo in the movie was related to a branch of the kung fu/lion dance group in hawaii also called Jing Mo in which I went to..

that's to bad, but i still got a lot of his old movies i haven't seen.

pretty good... got the dvd chinese version

 

Watched it. It's pretty good, not as good as his old ones. I don't think that is his last movie. He's rumored to team up w/ Jackie Chan on a new project.
