FAT 32 Formatting Software

Does anyone have any software that will format a HD to FAT 32? I was trying to use Windows to do it but it will only format up to a 20GB HD into FAT 32 and anything higher than that it only gives me the NTFS format option.

I guess some of you were wondering why I want to use FAT 32? Well its simple really, FAT 32 is recognized by both Windows and Mac OS'. Since I own both OS' it benefits me for video transfers.

Post what you got or suggestions!

I'm not totally sure, but I think the FAT file system has a limit on the max it can format hence the switch over to NTFS. Do they have FAT64?

Find a Win9x/ME computer with a floppy and make a boot up disk. It will come with a program called fdisk which you can format via FAT32. Or you can find someone with a Win9x/ME floppy. Most simple and free.

You can exceed 32GB (max theoretical of FAT32 is 8TB). Like Boom said, you can find a Windows 98 boot disk and use FDISK (or OFDISK for OEM preload disks). If you can not get one of these, look for Ultimate Boot CD or similiar utilities that may contain this utility.
