I saw that race lol! and Skylines are pretty expensive if you get them legalized here I saw a website for a place in Cali that sells them for like 60K and up depending on the year and model. I know a guy that has an R33 GTR hes gonna be selling after its fixed up..... its automatic tho

I wish I would have gotten there earlier to see some of the better races. I did think it was kind of bull s**t that so many drag cars were allowed into the races. I was assuming that the fastest "street" car shootout would mean that your car had to be a "street" car not a race or drag car. Just my 2 cents.

well man consider this: that skyline has only been to the track like twice. hes new to the track, his car is FAIRLY stock, and you know as well as i do that this is a slow track...im still expecting good things.

Small kine correction, I believe it was a black turbo VR6 Golf that ran him (skyline) down...the corrado got spanked by that trailered 9 second red "trailered" toyota. 1. Toyota Carina (9.6) 2. Toyoya Supra (11.2) 3. Nissan 240 (11.5) 4. VW Golf (12.0) 5. VW Corrado (12.5) 6. Evo RS (12.6) 7. WRX STi (12.7) 8. Skyline GTR (13.0) They raced a sportsman ladder elimination format...1 vs 5, 2 vs 6, 3 vs 7, 4 vs 8, so it sucks to be #5, much better to be #4

our camp didnt fare vey well either. we did qualify in the quick 8 domestics but ended the nite early.

1st pass a shakedown for the owner/driver since hes changed his combo quite a bit and wasnt used to the noise and power. ran a 10.08@114 with a 10lb pulley and the air to liquid intercooler water pump off.

2nd pass was where we think the damaged incured. the car started up with a really strange bearing type noise. anyways, does his burnout and a small puff of oil smoke somes out of the cowl. we think nothing of it. launch, doesnt leave hard, et's a 9.90 we thought, what the heck? opens up the hood, theres some oil dripping on the underside where the blow off valve is and we find a piece of aluminum, he asks me, where do you think this came from? well turns out vortech's xxtrim blower is now a piece of paperweight. impeller is destroyed.

after the corvette layed a good vht down the track. we called it a nite.
so cedric almost had to get another supra?
