actually its like this: in 2000 i had a civic ex. so whats the first mod do you do to a slow *** civic?....motor swap/turbo.... sounds good right? wrong....heres what happend....

went down too hypersports in Jan 2001 and wrote them a check for $6,000.
this was for a b18c1/trans/ecu/installation.....they said it would have taken them 2 weeks to find that motor. anyways, (long story short) 1 year went by no motor!
guess what chad's excuse was "oh we got some in...but i'm real **** about things and i dont trust those blocks" basically B.S.

so getting bored with my civic i decide to invest in full bodykit/custom sounds etc.
and while i'm at it bought me a $3,500 turbo kit w/3 apexi gauges, apexi v-afc, apexi avc-r, turbo timer, intake manifold, rods/pistons , jdm valve cover ,fmic ,bov, act clutch. basically $7,000 worth of shiet.
so i have no room at my house for this stuff....so what do i do? i take it to Hypersports for them to hold....

Now heres the funny part: one year later 2003 still P.Oed....i decide i want to sell my civic. so now i want all my stuff back. seems easy enough right? wrong.
i go down there and guess what?? they seem to have missed placed my turbo kit and all my other goodies!

anyways...so basically i've been ripped off $13,000.

they are paying me back slowly though. (not fast enough)
so pretty much all the goodies on my wrx is from them.
but as myron mentioned earlier still waiting for my vf-34/STi pinks/ Walbro FP and my 17" Advans w/tires,they ordered from Gruppe-s.....shessh and thats taking for ever man i just cant win.....

this makes me so deppressed sometimes. i mean my whole life is my car, and then there's people like this who makes modding your car not fun anymore....

sorry for being a post ***** but just had too vent.....
well the only good thing that came out of this was that if it wasnt for hypersports ***kin around, i wouldnt have sold my civic for a real turbo charged car,my wrx

oh and if you see a java black 04' wrx at hypersports thats just me trying to get back my sheit! haha

Didn't most of the better guys from the old Hypersports days go to California? I think i saw some of them on TV reppin' XS Engineering or TurboXS or something.

 

Well the good thing with Gruppe-S you will get your parts and it will probably be real soon those guys are really good.

 

should start a thread "rate local shops"....anyways does anyone deal with sonics alot? (sorry to jack da post). munkywurks is a good place, but they dont carry much things in stock xcept for defi gauges

 

i know... i call and e-mail them frequently on my order....what sucks is that hypersports is the one thats taking over a month to pay them fully. took Ross about 3 weeks just to put down a deposit.....

on the real.....Ross is the only one that is actually doing anything for me.... but, its too bad he's way too lazy and forgetful. i mean i gotta call him then ask if he ordered it..... then i gotta call Gruppe-s and confirm if he did or not....then call him back (when he's not downstairs) and remind him to do it.....by then its too late Gruppe-s is closed!....happens everyday i tell you Aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhh! lol

 

not trying to be sarcastic, but ever thought of going to court for this? that is a brick load of money you lost out on.

 

naw its alright.....the reason being... its been so long i have no reciepts for the transactions they made. also the stuff i left there were purchased else where.....(no paper trail would mean my word against theirs).....and believe you me, i'd be there i a heart beat.....

Ya.....when I use to work at Eurosport....I keep hearing bad thing's from the customers that came in.....From what I heard from them,NEVER TRUST HYPERSPORTS....somone told me that, they work more on their own cars, than they do there customers cars....

 

Yup forgot to mention that one day my brother-in-law and I went to check on the car in a surprise visit. His car was in the rain with the windows down and the mechanic that was working on his ride was busy putting a b16 in his mother's car. And they had the nerve to admit it.

also, haolepin, you used to work at euro's? you know who jarrett is then?

 

Not to shure,I think he's one of the installers?because I went to euro's not to long ago to say hi, and there was alot of new faces......I used to work sales with Jeff and matt up front.
