was on Kapiolani earlier today and saw the brand new Elise in red. i want! i want! now all i need is 50k, plus the local dealers markup

yeah rich, Elise + hard top + sport package(suspension and tires) + touring package(stereo for the bling

I wonder if the Elise is gonna be well built.
I have not heard good things about Lotus quality.
I seem to recall that the Elise uses a Toyota engine. At least that will be well built.

markup is 7.5k over sticker, which fully loaded- sport suspension, hardtop, and metallic paint was about 52k (BEFORE markup), IIRC...
the first one they got, which was to be their demo was going for 15k over sticker...and someone bought it, as i never got my call for my test drive in the demo...if they were willing to let them go for sticker, i'd be driving that instead of the s2k...that and the chrome orange color i wanted would be available in september 05...oh, and there was a 5k nonrefundable deposit...
man, i cant wait to see JN's markup on the Z06...the C5 z06 had a markup of 9k....
