Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art, main arsenal is kicking techniques. Kicks include double, triple, 180%, 360%, 540% extremem kicking techniques. Currently TKD is an olympic sport, and you'll see it at the Beijing Olympics. Tropic Lightning TKD enters local, outer island, and nationals (including Las Vegas, parents and adults really enjoy that one) tournament yearly. TKD is also great for kids w/ disipline, confidence, preserverance, mind/body coordination, etc. Adults enjoy the exercise (aerobic, stretching, and muscle conditioning) more than the actual competition of sparring.
Kenpo is a martial art derived in Hawaii by several instructors from different styes, then incorporated together. Jon if you're looking for a very good Kenpo school, lmk I have a Kenpo school using my space on certain days. He also is a jujitsu instructor.

Hey Ryan,
You remembered, we had a guest fighter Shogun Rua (Pride Fighting Champion and UFC fighter) participate in a workshop seminar at my studio on Father's day. A very good friend of mine coordinated the event and it was well organized (even had a Brazilian translator). We're having other great fighters from Pride and UFC conduct seminars at my studio in the future. If any one is interested I can let I-Clubbers know (anyone can attend, very safe).

Wow who would've thought HIIC members were into martial arts lol. I trained kempo for like 5 or 6 years when I was younger. Had a chance to get back into it some years back but was lazy. I regret it all the time.
