i got my utec tuned by bill knoss for ispeed back in cali. .before i shipped my car over to hawaii... i told him i really wanted to do ecutek and that there was no tuners in hawaii so i wasnt going to... and he said.. he'd fly to hawaii to reflash tune what not... i think a good dyno tune plus road tuning is the best for anyone going past stage 2 mods. anyways.. this guy can tune cars for sure and i dont think he needs a group buy deal.. if you guys are interested i can email him and ask him =) just some more options for all you ecutekers hehe.. i honestly think ecutek is the bomb..

See the thing is Carlo, and I spent some mad cash on our set-up's and now the just don't run right. Richard and Dynocomp are not really to blame, at least I don't feel they are, but they should sent a rep out here to help us out.

Sad, one of the best tuners in the United States (they build rally cars and have tuned thousands of Subarus) is willing to come and almost no one wants to tune using ECUTEK tuning. If you don't believe in their reputation ask anyone that truely knows tuning and let them tell you how good they are. This is exactly why we don't have and will never have an AWD Dyno in Hawaii. I'm almost ashamed to call Richard back after i told him just how many subaru enthusiasts we have in Hawaii and geting five people would be no problem.

I'd be interested if my car wasn't stock but I agree people that can should be jumping all over this might be one of those chances to get your car tuned who knows how long it'll be again before the chance comes up again or somebody blows a motor...

he'll give you at least 60-70 horses with a reflash(turboback exhaust). he told me in person that but i didn't have the cash on hand when he was here. i have rode in a car with a reflash done by him and it's worth more than any bolt on mod for the money. plus it's safe!

the car i rode in had a turbo xs tb exhaust and it pulled smoother earlier and stronger all the way to redline.

the helix tb is not bad for the price. just get a downpipe and you'll be happy. do it jeremiah! you won't be sorry.

as much as i would like to i think i'm in the same boat as a lot of us are....the poor boat. i don't have that much cash to throw down. not only that but without a dyno how do we know exactally how much we are gaining? i mean for $650 there is a big difference between 60-70hp and 20-30hp. i mean yea you can feel a difference but how do we know how much? $650 X 5=$3250! for some guy to come to paradise and play with cars? man i'm in the wrong buisness. i would spend $300 for a good tune and $150 for aditional ones but $650 is a little outta my league. you can't expect everyone to have that much cash just sitting there.

that's why most of us went to the 1/4 track so we could gauge how much hp we gained or lost. you'll never really know exact hp #'s w/o a dyno.

don't feel bad, i'm broke too!
