E85

I just got word that there was a new E85 station on Oahu. I'll be tuned on E85 and 93 when I move out there. Any confirmation?

Thanks
Kevin

Same with SF. There is a gov use only pump. I've been trying to find a loophole. Can't even get to where the pump is without clearance. I think they rebuild planes there which is what the fuel is used for. Didn't know planes used ethanol until I heard about this pump. Good luck with your search.

The pump is on the Marine base. It's no problem driving up to it BUT the only way it will start is with a government gas card and it's PIN number. Plus a fuel truck make frequent stops there to refill or just as a roving patrol. So.... No e85 on Oahu

Isn't there one on Schoffield as well?
Maybe Antho can chime in on that one, he's over there. I see alot of e-trucks rolling around out there, they can't all be going to Kbay for gas now can they?

Of course... with gov, the thinking is applied later, so I might of answered my own question.

This is what you do...take your GOV to the E85 pump on empty and let's say your GOVs tank capacity is 25 gallons. Have 5ea 5 gallon fuel cans ready to be filled with e85 use your GOV fuel key input the current miles on the computer pump 25 gallons into the gas cans. Once done take the GOV to a local gas station and fill it up on your own dime with unleaded. Take 25 gallons worth of e85 sell on the black market or keep for self. Granted everything works out and you don't get caught defrauding the government repeat. Now who has the ***** to do it.

Damn I'm a senior NCO in the US Army did I just write that?

I keed I keed....don't do that......unless your an idiot

I gots a neighbor that is going through a mast case from government merchandise fraud. He bought games from Kmart on days they were for sale and returned them to the NEX for $59.99 in store gift cards. I guess they caught on and waited for him to do it again and busted him. His command has no clue how to handle this but it's severe. Which by the way is dumb because if you DUI it's a slap on your wrist and wallet for 2+ months, this is because it happens all the time. Anyways sorry I got off topic but definiy wouldn't steal E85 at all!

LOL you son are behind the times.....

To not be a jerk. E-85 requires a little bit more volume in fuel but it gives an octane rating when there is sufficient volume to burn like 105 octane fuel.

In addition to being a renewable recource, and cleaner burning.....
