Dyno Run "Black Wasabi"
Must have been pretty exciting watching and waiting for the numbers. Jarrad does great work, even w/ the remote maps. Good thing about the map is its a conservative tune so no need to worry. Good job Dave!

I want to see some graphs... What RPM is your peak HP at? Where is your peak TQ?
Those pictures are pretty bright. Are they adjusted? What camera was used to take these photos?
Congrats.

The t-clamp was completely FUBAR, nut was perfect the bolt was bent and striped. I was able to replace it with another clamp.Graphs will be up shortly, the video should be ready in an hour or so....I showed the tv display after each pull, so that you can analyze the numbers. The camera I used was a Fujifilm Finepix F30 6.3 megapixels....

Nice man very nice I have almost the same setup with PDX tune e map as will. Seeing that you are at 300awhp and over 300 ft-lbs makes my feel good about me car and can't wait for Jarrad to come back.

Alright here's the results fellas:
First Run - 295.28 WHP / 323.81 ft lbs Torque @ 18.75 PSI (Third Gear)
Second Run - 297.09 WHP / 332.26 ft lbs Torque @ 19.9 PSI (Forth Gear)
Third Run - 297.83 WHP / 338.82 ft lbs Torque @ 20.20 PSI (Forth Gear)
Videos and pics will be posted as soon as "Slowbucket" uploads it.

Starting with the good news:
baselined to match the same "display" parameters as everyone else that'd been dyno'd, YOU GET MORE bragging rights..
First Run - 297WHP / 324TQ
Second Run - 299WHP / 332TQ
Third Run - 298WHP / 340TQ
Now since your first run was done in 3rd gear it was thrown off my chart so that you could see consistency in reporting (i.e.: all other STI's were done in 4th, as reflected by the 'gear ratio' recorded)
Now.. on to the not so good news.. either their O2 Sniffer reads lean (which when compared to other dyno charts I'm not inclined to concur with) or you're running REALLY lean and I 'THINK' (i don't know for sure) but the dip in power @ ~5700rpm may be a pull of timing/power due to knock.
DAMN solid numbers, but it looks like you barely go richer than 12.6 during each of your pulls (3rd gear pull looked even leaner)
Until you get Jarrad to weigh in on this, I'd keep your foot out of it. Too many STI's lately blowing ringlands...
Congrats and the numbers and looking forward to what you'll put down when you get tuned by Jarrad in person!

Nice #'s dave
FYI: if the sniffer for a/f ratio was in the back of the tail pipe it is NOT A GOOD READ.... The reason is b/c you will get the best A/F reading 2ft behind the turbo. by the time the air travels back to the end of the car it is not reading it right since lots of the fuel can evaporate. I highly recomend getting a real WIDEBAND..
There are 3 gauges your car really need, Boost, Oil pressure(loss of pressure equals well you know), & Wideband(this will detect more things wrong with your car b4 a EGT gauge can.)
example of my wideband working for me...... I have a innovative WB, boost, egt, fuel pressure gauge in my car. one day my WB started to flip out. my boost was fine and so was my egt and FP gauges... but my WB was going crazy and i was like WTF?
so i was driving some more not thinking it was bad and next thing you know my car started to sputter and bog. it also started to misfire. this whole time my WB was telling me something was wrong and all my other gauges were working fine.
i barely made it home driving 25mph on the freeway....first thing i did was I check my plugs and little did i know that i smashed my sparkplug (it happened due to my spark plug wire being lose.
it hasn't happened since then but still the only gauge going crazy was my WB and my WB is 2ft behind my turbo. also when i dyno my wd shows a 9.8 and the sniffer shows me in the low 11.2-10.5

Thanks tazer for the charts, I'm glad to hear my numbers were higher than before! Me running lean is making me nervous though, During my dyno, I was running my Worx BOV at 100% recirculating (Stock). I believe setting it at 100% atmospheric would help me make the car run more rich. Do you think I should run my BOV at 50/50 or 100% atmospheric for the time being in order for me to stay away from being even more lean?

err.. just MY OPINION again, but while that (running 50/50) 'may' make you run rich in-between shifts, it probably won't keep you from running lean on a longer gear pull. I think (running 100% atmospheric) it'll just make your cars' drive-ability suffer. I agree with Shaggy, get a WBO2 installed properly and monitor your A/F's...

Thanks Tazer and ****, Getting a WB02 is my next mod now along with a boost guage and oil pressure. I already bought a a-piller guage pod. Just need the guages now

yeh a WB is a must... like i told ya be safe on driving it till you figure out whats going on... you are lean just probably not as lean as the "sniffer" says but it's still enough to be safe about.. if you need help hooking up a wb lmk
