Dyno Comp tuning day

I spoke to Richard at Dyno Comp. If we can committ at least ten guys for tuning, he'll come to tune.

Here is the link to their site.
Dyno Comp

For STi's, he can tune with an APS unichip. (It will be realeased in January)

For WRX's, he tunes with the EcuTek. The EcuTek runs about $595.

Tuning is about $115 to $130 an hour.

[edited: info for the STi]

Does he know he'll be road tuning and not dyno tuning?

He knows that Hawaii does not have an AWD dyno. He prefers a dyno, but he will come down if we can at least come up with ten guys willing to pay for tuning.

I need to know when.

I have a deposit on the Cobb tuning piece and it won't be here till March. I might be convinced to go EcuTek.

I would be willing to pay for a good race gas map. On the average, how many hours does he need to tune a UTEC sans dyno?

Ryan, are you talking about 100% C16?

Does anyone sell that here? I saw on TV that Ron's got pretty badly flooded.

Ha, I wish! I ment to say "pump semi-race gas". I think a good map for 100 octane would be pretty fast... With the right turbo that is.
