hello all,

so i recently sold my gr hatch, and have my stock downpipe (w/cat) lying aruond. since it's stock, obviously no one would really be interested. was wondering if anyone knew of a scrap metal place or any where else that may buy it for the cat or whatever? please let me know if you know anywhere i can take it to get rid of.

you might be surprised at how many people might want to buy a stock downpipe.

Not sure how the smog laws are in HI, but in Ca people are always asking to buy/borrow stock exhaust to pass smog

 

there is a guy on nasioc that will pay like 120 ish for the metals. you have to hack it up n ship and he will pay you upon reciept. he got killer feedback. 120$ - 5$ for a blade - 15$for a flat rate box =100$-paypal fees is your profit.

I seen those. I figured by the time i ship, i dont make any profit. I didnt/dont know where to get a flat rate box that can fit a downpipe in it haha. Ill keep looking as well. Thanks for the tip!

 

theres a place in waipahu that buys them. but only for cheap. 50bucks at the most for one cat. its the tireshop right next to DJ's motorsports.

 

he gives you directions of how to hack it up, all he wants is the precious metals which will fit in a flat rate box. local for 50$ or a few hrs of your time for about $90 after all said and done. Nothing wrong with waitng for money you dont need or selling it to the guys locally for 50$. Alot better than using it to take up space in your house.
