I am deciding whether I should install StonGard on my gf's Toyota. I have StonGard (RockBlocker actually) on my STi and need it because of the sand and ish that is on the hwy's up here in WA. But when I move back I was wondering if the Toyota will need it. The car was repainted a year ago and already has some nasty chips on it. When I lived in HI I lived on the east side and there wasn't much debris on the road. But since I will likely live on the west side I am a bit worried. So should I consider getting it?

 

yup you will definetly need one. i know i do. theres a lot of dump trucks, garbage trucks, etc. on the freeway that kick up a lot of rocks and debris. plus they drive really fast so a lot of rocks fall out from their under carriage causing the pebbles to bounce all over the freeway.

 

Man i need my own Force Field With people throwing bolts from the other side of traffic hitting my hood and leaving the thread marks on my hood, to rocks from trucks

 

with all this bad weather we have been having lately there are rocks flying all over the place. it wouldn't help not get it. after seeing the roads deteriorate over the last few months i'd say the roads are worst than washington now.

 

go without one and be cool like me. my car looks like someone flicked white paint all over the front.
