Did we ever figure out who the guy was who made his WRX RWD?

The magazine article (Turbo mag or Import Tuner...) said his name was Alan.

Mitch and Dom (and I) were curious, but only so we could utilize a RWD dyno.

Travis guys from Hypersport have the conversion kit for RWD for WRX's. I'm pretty sure that one of the guys that work there have used it, possibly to tune since their dyno is not a 4wheel dyno.

3 months ago i went to the ias in los angeles and talked to the company rep. for kaaz. he told me that they helped alan put the welded center diff on his wrx.

call kaaz for more info.

pat, are you thinking of doing this to tune your car when you get back?

Speaking of Hypersports, they quoted me $200 for the conversion to RWD and back to AWD and also, an hour of dyno time.

Does anyone know how well they tune?

No idea Chibby

but I'd want to be in the driver's seat keeping an eye on the A/F and knock activity.

Laws no! I'm headed to the land of the AWD dyno in a little more than a month and a half.

Axis will be 2hrs to the west. There's a shop I think is near Toledo ~1.5hrs. There's someone up in Michigan (Godspeed is one). There's someone in Chi-town. I'm set on almost all sides, if I'm willing to drive a while.
