ok heres the scoop...........
dave traded in his highly modded Sti @ BMW of honolulu so....
it got sold but the guy who bought it re-traded it in for another car due to the warranty being voided.....
he has all kinds of stuff done:
d/p
hks exhaust
boost controller electronic computer...(blitz i think)the $800 one
sounds/dvd
tint
clear headlights
nice rubber OEM subaru foul weather floormats
and all kinds of other stuff.....
the car is @ BMW in the showroom
if anyone is interested ask for Johnny Sawvell.... in the pre owned dept..... I used to sell with him @ Pflueger Honda....
I believe the car is on ad in the paper for 29999
It is a hell of a steal if you dont care about warranty and all the go fast goodies are already on it.....
to ensure PROPER customer service ask for Johnny and tell him JEREMY D'ANDREA sent you....he will take good care of you....

Why do people think the warrenty is void just because a car has aftermarket parts on it can somebody show me in the Subaru warrenty were it says that. All I have read is that if the part is the direct cuase of a failure then the warrenty is void...So if I put a cat back on my car and the instrument cluster stops working they are not going to fix it come on people....Aftermarket parts don't void your warrenty. And that list that was floating around a while back that listed parts that void your warrenty was bogus I talked to subygal from the other site and her dealership never heard of it...

I wasn't talking about Schuman...The person I talked to who works at Subaru works at one in Washington...Plus a dealership that sells all alot of these parts we put on our cars would have a hard time void somebody's warrenty for having aftermarket parts on their car....These guys are a good example

mach5......yeah ok dude.....its not highly modded..... but compared to my broke a$$ Sti (which is stock) dave's Sti is highly modded to me...... I guess its just a caliber of how much an individual wants to modd his car..... but i wanted to trade in my sti for his..... it had lower miles and all the good stuff....plus it wasn't KEYED from healight to tailight 2 weeks after I bought it...so lighten up man........ oh wait....thanks for the blitz intake...i love that thing....so my car is barely stock....
but anyways im buried in my car......car slang for: My payoff is more than what its worth....and dave took a huge loss.... which kinda sucks,,,,,if u know what i mean....
but the warranty was voided because the guy tried to service the car for check engine light and the dealership blasted him for all the aftermarket stuff he had....(to answer someone's quesiton.....)
And im not sure which dealership this was......
Ok but on a positive note.....someone is gonna scoop up a really sweet car that was taken care of and had all the install stuff done by our own sweat, blood, and tears by our own i-club members during that big install day.....
I'd rather see this car get sold by a refferal from someone on the club that can truly appreciate what the car stands for and IS>>>>aka a piece of import history......rather than someone who just falls into it and doesn't have a clue or understanding of what they have or are getting.....and what it took to make that car what it is.....
that is all........
im kinda buzzed and will now navigate my way to Zanzabar and get really hammered and have lots of fun on this spring break...
so everyone take it easy!
