well it looks like we are doin justings stuff on sunday at his house. my stuff wont be here till probably Wed of next week but i am planning on doing it on Saturday of the 27th cause the wife actully wants to help and she will be home then. Also that gives me sunday to dial in the height and camber settings I want before taking it in for an alignment. anyone know if there is a good place to do corner weighting? preferably one that can do alignments as well, but ill take what i can get. I'll post up an install day next week when it gets closer.

i would just get the alignment now...better to wait till your done with the mods b4 you corner and balance....or just wait till the next test and tune, it's like $10.

test and tune it is! and by "get the alignment now" you do mean after the coilovers go on right...

Justin, why don't you just hold the install for the FMIC, and just go to auto x....there's always next week to do the install.....

Mike, you should auto x your car before the coils.... therefore you could notice the difference with the stock set up....just a thought....

I was able to switch days off with a co-worker, so I will be at auto x....hope to see others out there....

Ya, that was what I was hoping to do as well, but plans kinda change. I had hoped to autocross the car a *lot* sooner, but between deployments and getting married and surgery it hasnt worked out. But now i finally have the time and two good arms! So I would like to get out there asap, but I want to go when there are people I know who can show me around. also not sure when I should start driving myself as opposed to watching and what all I need.

As for the coilovers, I would like to do a before and after, but the priority is to get the damn things on the car as soon as I can, which will probably be next weekend. Let me know who is going and where to meet tho cause I will be there if I can this weekend.

i've been wanting to go to auto-x and the track regardless, it just happens that the oportunity to go and the money to buy the suspension came about together. I really would like to get the chance to do some competition driving before the suspension so i can really feel the difference too. either way I want to start attending as much as possible.

this leads me to the next question. how much does it cost and can i rent/borrow a helmet till i get one of my own. what is appropriate dress? I have heard it may require long pants and certain shoes?
